Terminal spikes of deep blue-purple are very long lasting. Foliage is green and has a scent of licorice. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, deer and rabbit resistant. Heat and drought tolerant.
Use as cut or dried flower.
Hybridized by Gert Fortgens at the Trompenburg Arboretum in Rotterdam from Agasteche foeniculum x rugosa.
